OUR CORE TEAM
This is our core team, many of whom have been with us for a number of years, they all compliment each other and offer different skills, interests and knowledge to all the work that they undertake. We increase our numbers as required to ensure that we meet the needs of our contracts and schedules. One of our team leaders Davie Gray, back left, has been with us for almost 27 years, since leaving school and has a wealth of knowledge to offer, gained over his many years in the landscaping industry.
Also pictured second on the left is our mechanic John Fraser, he has been with us for 16 years and maintains all of our equipment and vehicles and is able to attend onsite for breakdowns, repairs or exchanges of equipment, plant or vehicles.
Environment & Sustainability
We are committed to achieving sustainable development within the landscaping industry. When we design landscaping areas we recommend the use of planting that is native to that area, which wherever possible is accompanied by a certificate of local providence and sourced from our local supplier.
When possible we rebuild any existing stone walls using the fallen or buried stone or we source replacements from the surrounding area. This also applies to any fencing or tree staking repairs that we undertake, we choose to re-use and recycle as much as possible.
We relish the opportunity to depart from the idea that all grass cutting should be done to the same height preferring if agreed to increase the length as we progress away from the edge with a view to encouraging bio-diversity and wild flower meadows bringing positive benefit to wildlife.
We maintain any existing wooded areas on the sites that we cover as we believe that maintaining the larger trees is an important part of our heritage and these wooded areas are often a vital habitat and food source to the local wildlife. We strive to maintain and enhance biodiversity with semi natural woodland.
